The most important answers about ListPlayer.
ListPlayer needs access to your music library to display your playlists. Open the iOS Settings → ListPlayer and make sure "Media & Apple Music" is enabled. Only playlists that exist in your library are shown.
ListPlayer plays the contents of your Apple Music library. Tracks from the Apple Music catalog require an active subscription; your own, locally synced music can be played without a subscription.
Open a playlist and tap "Sort" in the top right. You can choose between "Newest first", A–Z, Z–A, "Most played", "Reverse" and "Restore sort order" – the latter gives you the order of the Music app.
In the player you'll find the AirPlay icon. Tap it and choose your output device – such as Apple TV, a speaker or headphones.
Because it ends with the track that is playing at the target time – the music should not be cut off mid-chorus. That is why the app tells you up front when exactly it will stop and which track it will end with.
The two don't go together: with repeat on, playback never ends and the timer would never get its turn. ListPlayer therefore switches it off and tells you so with the notice "Timer off — repeat is on".
ListPlayer controls the same queue as the Music app. If that queue is replaced from outside, the timer can no longer take effect. The next time you open the app, it points out that the sleep timer could not finish.
Yes. It doesn't need the app – the music runs out even when you closed ListPlayer long ago.
